Truck Totaled in Rear-End Accident
by Jeff C.

Last July, I was on my way back to work after picking up a quick lunch. I was rear ended by an older gentleman in a large truck. The roads where dry, the visibility perfect.
I was waiting to make a left turn across traffic, and the guy hitting me never even tried to slow down, so he hit me at 55 MPH, and I was at a dead stop. Since I was driving a manual with the transmission disengaged, I got lucky and just bounced off him, and had a minimum amount of damage.
My truck was totaled. I got a concussion and a three-month-long headache.
The other driver accepted blame immediately.
