The car accident just before high school graduation

It was the last few days of May, just before I graduated in 1981. I was a wild child and it was time to cruise. The time was around 7:00 p.m.
After borrowing my parent's car and leaving them carless for the night, I parked at my friend's house. There we would meet up with her boyfriend from out of town. His friend, my set up date was driving.
Our dates arrived and we got in the car after a brief introduction. We headed to the beer store to try and buy any kind of alcohol. We were turned down.
So we all piled in the car, not thinking about seatbelts. As my date was driving I tried to get aquainted. "Oh I have the same orthodontist as you." It was my famous last words, well before I woke up in the hospital. The next words I spoke were as a head injury patient.
Our car had run a red light, crashing into two other cars. I hit the dash and blacked out and had seizures. My life would never be the same.
