Motorcycle Hits Car

We were coming back from school and dad was driving the car. It was late afternoon and the traffic was thick and zooming along. We reached a 90-degree right turn in the road which is very tricky.
Dad slowed down the car (to change the gear) and was in the middle of another other lane when a young guy riding a motorcycle with a child in the pillion seat smashed into the back of our car.
The guy stood straight on the ground but the child was thrown to the side of the road. Thankfully, the child wasn't hurt. If that child had been thrown in the middle of the road he would have been surely hit by another vehicle.
