Notices get lost in the mail or
discarded as junk mail. Even after these attempts to notify
customers, only 72% of owners affected by safety issue car recalls
have the recall work completed for Chrysler Sebring Recalls.
Car Accident Advice often obtains
recall notices before dealers and owners. The NHTSA recommends
that you wait for the mailed bulletin to arrive before requesting
the work to be done. However, you can ask your
Chrysler Sebring Recalls dealer when the next recall update notice is expected at their shop.
The National Highway Traffic Safety
Administration (NHTSA) regularly announces vehicle safety car
recalls in an effort to inform and urge owners to get problems
repaired quickly.
In the United States, safety car
recalls must be performed at no charge to the customer. Car
manufacturers are required by law to mail notices of car recalls to
owners and dealers.

Summary
On certain passenger vehicles, the floor shifter ignition-park interlock may fail and allow the shifter to be moved out of the Park position with the key removed. An inoperative interlock may also allow the key to be removed when the shifter has not been placed in the Park position. Either circumstance may result in the vehicle rolling away without warning.
