AutoCheck Vehicle Report

Car Accident Advice Home» AutoCheck Report Online
What is an AutoCheck vehicle report or the other's vehicle report? Both reports provide car buyers with a comprehensive vehicle history report by simply typing in the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN).

One difference is that the AutoCheck vehicle report is available not only in the United States, but in Canada and Puerto Rico as well. Therefore, the AutoCheck report is one of the most widely available vehicle report services.

The AutoCheck reports both are created using information found in billions of records. In fact, the AutoCheck database is the most complete vehicle history database available.

These records have been compiled from information reported by police departments, fire departments and insurance companies. In addition, it contains data provided by auto auctions, State DMVs and other sources, such as inspection stations and reporting dealerships.

The reporting sources and agencies provide information on registration or title changes, rental or fleet history, and odometer readings. All of this information is obtained via the VIN, and will also verify the make, model and year and country of manufacture.

The AutoCheck or AutoCheck vehicle report will also expose a problem title. For instance, if the car was subject to a lemon manufacturer buyback, then a "lemon title" will have been issued. That fact will then show up in the Title Check portion of the report.

Other problem titles will also be reported. For instance if the vehicle was salvaged from a flood area, such as New Orleans following Hurricane Katrina, then that vehicle would have been issued a flood title. In fact, any type of damage or problem that would result in a problem title issue will be reported; these include, salvage or rebuilt titles and titles that show a discrepancy with the odometer.

There is much more information provided in an AutoCheck vehicle report. However, here at Car Accident Advice we have found that the AutoCheck report is by far the best option for the consumer.
